Taylor Swift was unable to attend Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards because she was busy reporting for jury duty in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV reported, "Swift was considered for a case involving charges of aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping and domestic assault.
